Description

- This is an extremely Rare Hard-to-find jewelry/trinket box made by Nelialee out of New York City. After attempting to research the company, I was unable to find anything on it, which makes me believe they weren’t in business for very long, and that very few Nelialee Jewelry Boxes even exist. - As for the age, I’d guess it’s from the 1920's or 1930's, but please view the many photos to determine the age for yourself. - I think it's faux leather and has a velvet inside. Size: about 10 3/16 inches by 7 1/16, with a height closed of about 3 7/16 inches, and a height fully open of about 9 5/16 inches. Condition: as for how old it is, it is in good condition, the lock and both keys work (keys are different, so one might be original and one might be a replacement, not sure), but does have some age/usage wear, dust in corners, one of the screws in the hinge could use tightening, tiny spots of colors on the fabric, mainly around where rings are stored on the tray, one corner is folded over a bit on the base, both hinges and lock have some greening (see photos to determine condition for yourself).
